My wife has issues with here back while riding in cars. I have read that Volvo has good seat’s in their cars...or maybe it is just a pipe dream thinking you can have a comfortable car seat? Now retired and Having gone through three kids in college, I have owned a ton of vehicles over the...

    Kia Telluride

Hmm, IDK Seems like hitting100k miles is pretty easy theses days, I personally know of a couple of people who surpassed 400k on their vehichles using no specific oil or filters (etc.)...just went to the local “quick oil change” place. IMO ...WAAAAY too much emphasis on oil/filter brand choices...

    Off Brand Oil

So, per the owners manual for my vehicle: - Honda genuine motor oil - Premium grade 0W20 detergent oil with API Certification Seal on the container...actually has a picture of this symbol in the owners manual. I don’t see this symbol on those bottles pictured above...wonder how important that...

I don’t buy the ones that are not on clearance...some very good deals out there, and have not seen any reasons for paying top dollar for oil?

Michelin CrossClimate2 or Primacy Tour A/S for 2014 Honda Accord in New England

Put a set of CC2’s on my 2016 Honda Accord a month ago. Have not experienced any of the issues described above (steering responsiveness, high-speed stability, noise)...I think they are a nice tire, anxious to see how they handle in slush and snow!

    Michelin CrossClimate 2 initial impression

I just pu a set of these on my 2016 Honda Accord yesterday, Costco sale. I live in a 120”+ annual snowfall region and debated the same thing. The original Crossclimate+ were only rated for 40000 miles, I believe and these tires are not cheap! Since you can’t change out tires like a pair of socks...

    Michelin Crossclimate+ tires Nov2019 date

Interesting, as you say my understanding was that the 2 is the last east version of this tire, and both the + & 2 carry the 3-Peak Mountain Snowflake symbol...although I have not viewed either tire in person. The tread wear rating has improved with the 2. I do know this, last year in October I...

Shelf life of today's synthetic oil

Interesting, I suppose this is why AA and AZ run those oil clearances at the end of every year...that and getting rid of old generations in order to market a new one.

    Michelin Crossclimate+ tires Nov2019 date

You may want to consider the latest version, Crossclimate2, I believe the tread warranty went from 40K mikes to 60K... I am hoping for a Costco sale in October!

Comparison between TireRack and CR tire ratings

Thanks for sharing this, So is there a National (or International) that specifies how this test is to be performed... or do the various tire manufacturers and sellers (like CR and Tire Rack) have their own way of doing it.
