Before I do this drain and fill on my wife’s 2013 Honda fit, is there anyone on here who has used the Castrol universal atf/cvt fluid? I’ve used Valvoline maxlife in the past, just curious about this Castrol offering

I checked my local WM yesterday and the 9972 and 10358 filters are still the cellulose style filters

Brand new filter that’s why. I bought it because I was curious about the internals compared to their microgard select

For those who are wondering like I was. $5.79 plus tax at my local Oreillys. 95% at 29 microns. Rated for 3k-5k oil changes. Nitrile rubber adbv, glued seam, very neat gluing, coil spring, made in China. I wouldn’t hesitate to use this filter on my Honda.

For some reason my corolla decided to have a loose drain plug this past oil change. I torque the plug to 30 lb ft and check it with a wrench after. I noticed some oil drips and oil on the pan. This has never happened to me before. Any suggestions?

2013 Honda fit ST full synthetic 5w30 with Champ labs PH2867XL

I’m gonna have to wait and see these in person. The only way I could get them now is online and with shipping it comes to $20 per filter. I do like that they use the champ style end caps for the cartridge filter though 👍🏻

Just a autozone atf filter and stp fluid

I just bought an st3614 and it had a dome bypass instead of the combo valve

Most filters are at or around 99%@30

See where it says greater than 20 microns?

Read the fine print on the pictures I’ve uploaded from Frams website every filters efficiency percentage is tested with particles greater than 20 microns

I believe most oil filters are. Even Fram says 95% for particles over 20 microns. People don’t seem to read that part

I assume they’ll all the same as the supertech 99@30
