I have never so much as seen one of these "sandwich" adapters but if it still uses the full-flow filter couldn't the output to the bypass filter be plugged and no harm done? Joe

Jinma Chinese tractors - anyone use them?

I have ample experience driving a 3020 (also an International Hydro 70) for my neighbor when I was a teenager back in the early 70's. It certainly is a lot more tractor than my 28 hp Jinma; so much more in fact that it won't even fit in many of the places that I need my tractor to go. Not...

Jinma Chinese tractors - anyone use them?

Well, Lars is from der Olde Kountry and I cannot recall if they were EVER enemies, so that may not be a hindrance to him. As for me, which Asian tractor did I want to buy? There haven't been any new American made compact tractors for something like 30 years now in the less-than 60 hp class. The...

Jinma Chinese tractors - anyone use them?

I have owned a Jinma-284 tractor for six years now, have about 600 hours on it and am quite satisfied. If you are willing/qualified to do your own maintenance they are truly a bargain; well-built, powerful, fuel efficient, and sturdy. If, however, one is the type to snivel because a bolt is...

    Three most useful gauges...

Oil pressure is highly over-rated; enough is all you need. But on a turbo'd engine oil temps can be crucial. If your oil temp is good your pressure will also be ok.

OK to mix spark plug types?

One of the forum members over at http://www.speedtalk.com works at a place that uses pressure sensors to measure what's happening inside combustion chambers during operation. There is an amazingly wide spread of the dynamics both within a cylinder and between cylinders even on an engine that is...
