    Glasses

I agree, good job. I've worn glasses since I was 14 months old and I now have not only bifocals but a set of eyeglasses specifically for computer work. The only reason I can still get glasses made for me is because of the many old returnable Coke bottles I have in my collection. Yeah...

My '95 Civic ARX treatment phase, filter...

I agree. This application did what it could and I bet the innards in the ol' girl are spotlessly clean now. I wouldn't mind having a borescope to look through the 710 drain hole in the pan just to see how it really looks...

Thank you. It seems that no matter how I attempt to display the images directly it does not work any more. Such is life. Maybe today I'll rip the cartridge to bits so as to reveal what lies in the pleating...

My '95 Civic ARX treatment phase, filter...

UPDATE: after running 3,835 miles on the rinse-phase oil I changed it out and cut the filter open. Here's what it looks like, admittedly I expected more but since this is the third ARX treatment in about 50,000 miles and running LC20 regularly there probably isn't much left for the Auto-Rx to...

    Additives that work.........

The first additive I know for certain that worked was Marvel Mystery Oil in the gas tank of my 1971 (FREE) Dodge Dart. It had a pesky near-miss at idle that was kinda sorta like a burnt valve but a few MMO'd tankfuls cleared it right up. MMO worked fine in the crankcase of that car too but I...

How many DIY oil change do you do in a year??

About an average of four or five per year- the '95 Civic gets about two; the '77 Chev 454 pickup about one or less; the Honda Harmony II lawn mower gets changed once, sometimes twice, yearly; my Karcher pressure washer with Honda engine, once a year or less; and, the Honda multi-gizmo with an...

All that acid in RLI oil (Renewable Lubricants)

Sounds like used RLI would be good for my rhododendrons and azaleas In reality, though, if I wasn't such a staunch user of AMSOIL I would most certainly give RLI a whirl, given what I've read on BITOG about it. The RLI series of oils do get rave reviews here.

So I went to buy a reel mower...

IIRC reel mowers are actually better for your grass as they clip it like a pair of scissors as opposed to an ultra-fast sickle action which can tear the tops of the grass blades. I used to have an MTD six-blade reel mower when I mowed my mom's lawn- it was a beauty. Gave it to the neighbor gal...

I have not had television- aerial, cable or satellite- for over five years now... Is there anything actually WORTH watching? I did like Law and Order and a fair amount of stuff on the Discovery Channel but that was aboot it. The Taxidermy Network was not all that exciting while it lasted but...

What brands are in your tool chest

Hand tools- some Craftsman, Allied, Husky, one or two Protos, some odd names too, and some really cheap stuff like Xingbangyao. They sit in a BIG stainless steel tool chest I purchased at Costco two or three years ago.
