Are you sure it’s a lifter tick and not piston slap? They can sound similar and it will go away after a few minutes of warming up. Piston slap is pretty much harmless.

Update: I unplugged the MAF to see if anything changed. It ran fine at first. About 5 minutes into the dive it started acting up again and the engine light came on. I ran the code and code P0122 “Throttle position sensor low circuit” is the code. Could it be the TPS is bad but only acts up...

It was coated in oil but it’s was a very dark orange. I saved it so can do that, because I’m very curious.

EcoGard Synthetic S2222. Off of 2021 Ram Rebel 5.7 non-E-torque. 20k miles on unit, 5k 6 month oci. Typical PG. Can was sturdy, with a light textured coating. The media was secured firmly. Though there was a little excess glue. Media was evenly spaced. ADBV was very playable.
