I did a bone head mistake when I bought a M1 filter . Wanted a M1 110A but grabbed a M1 101A. After 1/2 hour of I can't get this filter on I figured out yes I bought the wrong filter. The sad part is I did have the right numbers in the Notes on phone.

So then you are better off using a syn blend that meets Dexos than a full syn that does not. Looks like ST syn would be a much better oil than the Penzoil Black label oil.

My truck calls for a SN 5-30 but I do use a SN 10-30. My personal belief is if they both use the same base oil/additives and you don't need the winter rating of a 5 , a 10 would be the better choice. Like I stated it is my personal belief.

Any one has a recipe for making their own Ballistol? I use the stuff for black powder shooting and do find it does a good job. I do have some water solvent cutting oil from NAPA and use it cut with water for cleaning bp but Ballistol is better.

How would the Napa Pro oil filters stack up against a Super Tech ST oil filter?

Delo 15/40 for zero turn and M1 HM 10/30 in the others. Once the M1 HM 10/30 runs out it will be any 10/30 syn on sale. Keeping clean oil and correct level means more than if I use a 15/40 versus 10/30.

Mobil or Citgco or Warren your engine won't know any better. I had used it in the past, in my truck right now and may use it in the future. I never bothered to see who made it.

I guess gear oil is better than low oil? I knew someone who ran their lawn mover on transmission fluid because that is all he had.

Today I just change the oil in a 2004 Z4 2.5. I used PP Euro 5/30 with a M1 filter. Would it work for you I don't see why not and the price from walmart was good.

Just need to educate people a dry chemical is a waste of time on an EV fire when the batteries light off. Seems to me you would have to treat it like a tire fire. Use lots of water or a lot of foam. I use the 910s on my B&S powered lawn tractor and also on my Kawasaki powered zero turn. Too bad it won't work on the Frontier.

The battery pack can be a problem. I am sure they took that into design consideration. Tesla made efforts from batteries catching on fire but it does happen. When it does it will burn it down to the frame. Of course any car will too once the fuel, tires and interior goes.

Just wait till the truck catches on fire. Fun times ahead.
