I'm surprised that Castrol Edge gold hasn't been mentioned (although Wemay did list it in post #79). It claims 25K OCIs are doable and at the current Rollback price of $25.97 at WM seems to be a bargain.

I've drained the FF in the differential and transfer case on our 2021 CX-30 and refilled them with Royal Purple 75w90. The RP claims to be good for both GL4 and GL5 (I assume they mean it's 'yellow metal safe'.) The RP seems to be working fine.

I've used virtually every aftermarket filter as well as OE ones on our 2008 Elantra and never had an issue....the same on my in-laws Hyundais and Kias. Maybe I was just lucky.

Sorry to bump an older post but I met a guy in Walmart in Florida last month who was buying up QS 5w40 Europe for his C8. I looked on the Pennzoil website and they make no recommendation for that 6.2 Chevy....Mobil recommends the 0w40 'Supercar'. Is this guy being foolish or would the QS 5w40...

I'd use the Valvoline but I'm sure both are good.
