Spray lubricants getting too expensive. What are some alternatives?

I try to avoid buying stuff like this from the auto parts stores when possible. Its always marked up higher than any place else. Rural king has been my go to when stocking up on stuff like this. I know not everyone has a rural king in their area but even places like walmart have better prices on...

    Top oil producing States

Kinda surprised to see Ohio on the list. Figured Pennsylvania or West Virginia would be ahead of it on oil production.

    Outdoor AC condenser - tilted

Use a shovel to lift the pad up and push some gravel under it. Not hard and certainly not $625 worth of work.

    HVAC Experts? Question

T6s are junk. I replaced 2 brand new ones last year because they were acting stupid. Get an Ecobee 3 lite or Pro1 T855 and throw that T6 in the trash.

If you had the means to move anywhere in the US today where would that be?

Just far enough south that I wouldn't have to deal with road salt/brine.

    Circuit breaker tripping

Thats a weird one. A 240 volt circuit should have no effect on a 120 volt circuit and vice versa a 120 shouldn't effect a 240. Most 240 volt appliances don't use the neutral for anything unless they have something needing 120 volts like the light in your stove or dryer. The main load is line to...

Sending a signal over open land is easier than open water. The water can act as a reflector and skew the path of the signal.

    Cybertrucks rust in the rain.

Probably sourced the stainless from a shoddy source. Good 300 series stainless doesn't rust.

    Do you drink filtered water

I just think about all the stuff thats been dumped in that lake over the years. The famous burning Cuyahoga river dumps into it. Every time Cleveland get heavy rain the waste water treatment plants get over whelmed and discharge the water into the lake. There is a lot of agricultural land around...

    Do you drink filtered water

I use filtered water for cooking and drinking, making tea and coffee. Our water comes from Lake Erie so I don't trust it. It has a lot of chlorine in it. If I fill our tub with water its noticeably blue in color. Thinking about getting an RO system though. Those of you with RO systems what do...

Hard to pick just one as it changes almost daily and depends on the mood. Here is a few that have been on the rotation lately.

Actually todays refrigerants are more efficient. Part of the reason we have such high SEER air conditioners and heat pumps now.

Stick with actual refrigeration oil. Yes its expensive but you don't need a lot of it.

PAG oil for propane/isobutane (sold as replacement gas in r134a systems)

Ive mentioned before that propane really doesn't come close to the right pressure temperature curve for replacing R12 or R134a. Guys will argue that it works but that doesn't mean its right. Like you say 12A is most likely a blend to get the PT curve closer to R12/R134A R152A works well...
