Intermittent Torque Converter Lock Up -1998 Jeep Cherokee XJ - AW4

I agree...I don't think your problem is fluid-related. Dex III starts at a higher viscosity than Dex VI, but shears to a lower viscosity in service. The Dex VI stays much closer to its starting viscosity.

"Will it run" CJ7 revival project - oil recommendations?

It's just a personal preference, really. I've had good results with Maxlife. I'm sure the HDEO would be just fine, too.

"Will it run" CJ7 revival project - oil recommendations?

No "mild cleaning" will help stuck rings in a short time. That said, I'd probably use Maxlife 10W40.

Best methods to rule out blown head gasket following loss of serpentine belt

My best guess is that you're still getting air out of the system. Time will tell, of course.

The 3 year warranty is probably free replacement, while the 5 year is pro-rated.

    Parasynthetic compatibility - Schaeffer's 15w-40

Welcome! I have used Conklin Convoy for decades, and it was traditionally a Grp 2/4 blend, now Grp 2/3/4. So, nothing wrong with that mix. Sorry that I can't help with your other question...I know nothing about the JD oil.

Need Oil Recommendations for 2016 Range Rover

You'll get a variety of opinions, of course, but here's what I'd do: run Mobil 1 in the appropriate viscosity, get it out for a good highway run every couple of weeks (bring oil up to temp), and change the oil annually.

    Metal Tank and Seasonal Storage

I store everything full of E0 treated with a stabilizer. I make sure to run it long enough to get the treated gas through the carb(s), then shut it down and don't touch it til spring. This has always worked well. For example, I bought a ZRX1200 new in 2001, and the carbs have never been touched...

how are port threads on the filtered side sealed

I agree with Hirev. There's less restriction through the media than past the threads.

RealOem bmw coolant mixed with RealOem audi coolant

If only a small amount was added, I'd probably have just driven home with the expansion tank low.

Could HPL clean too well for my car's problem?

I don't know anything about your particular engine, but I believe that R&P needs 4 OCIs to do its thing.

    Rebuilt pushrod V8

I'd just use your favorite 5W30 or 10W30, and your motor will live a long, healthy life.

Valvoline High Mileage Synthetic vs Castrol Edge High Mileage 5w30

I wouldn't hesitate to use either...I'm sure they're both good. I would use whichever is most readily available in your area.
