I understand that. Even without humidity, though, AC still cools...like you said, "and". I've visited Phoenix, and the AC in our vehicle still cooled the interior.
I usually use S100 to clean our bikes, but am nearly out of it, and the shop I used to buy it at is now closed. Has anyone used a similar product that works well?
I only had 1 with the 3.8. Sold it with over 170k miles, still running very well.
I agree that any engine can fail if abused. I just don't believe that it is abuse to allow a vehicle to run the way the engineers designed it.
The vehicle is not overheating. It is working exactly as the mfr designed it to. There are many, many of these vans on the road, all functioning the same way, with a whole lot of them achieving a very long life. Absolutely nothing to worry about.
Total speculation here, but maybe the base oil blend of the new fluid is different, so it expands at a slightly different rate, meaning cold vs hot volumes vary a bit.
