It was the plastic to plastic that broke. The metal clips are still secured to the plastic tabs, but the plastic extensions that the metal attaches to broke

Went to a junk yard today and found one intact from a pickup. Looks the same, hopefully it will fit. 3 of the clips broke on removal (the plastic portion that holds the clip on closest to windshield). How do you repair them? I am thinking some thickened epoxy should do the trick.

Went to check it out in person, it is hydroboost. They said they did some brake work and replaced some calipers and lines and master cylinder. I imagine hydroboost portion would be independent of brake hydraulics and should not have been affected by the brake work. Am I thinking correctly here...
