    Cable TV and Costs?

Only thing that I would add to this is to get either the Firestick or Roku anyway. The interface on either of these is far superior than what you will probably get on your average smart TV (unless you have a Roku or FireTV.) I have an LG OLED, and use my old Firestick with it because the LG...

    Preferred Hot Tub Brands

Sundance bought out Jacuzzi. However for both value and quality, these two do seem to set the standard.

    Preferred Hot Tub Brands

Frame integrity is an issue the older they get. I can't speak to the polymer on the Bulldog because they aren't a big brand around here. I can tell you on the Vita that one of the biggest reasons that I got rid of it was that the skirt on it (wood) was becoming an issue. Besides having to stain...

    Preferred Hot Tub Brands

I have owned two. First was a Vita Spa, the second was a Sundance. There are several good brands. Hot Springs and Sundance are two of the best known. Bullfrog has a good reputation, but does not seem to have the dealer network of the larger brands. I'd say that the most important factor in...

Mower Safety while cleaning mower deck

I was always taught to pull the plug wire when doing anything under the deck. Not worth taking any chances.

    Castrol vs Valvoline

I'd be fine with either. I'd go with price as my guide. If both were equal, probably Castrol.

Ram/Stellantis to announce 10 year/100.000 mile powertrain warranty for 2026 model year.

They are doing it because they feel they have to, period.

Tell me why not to buy a 2025 Nissan Altima

I'd say go take a look at it and see if you like it. My experience with the Altima is limited to a rental, years ago. The same year that I bought my '12 Accord (and you did too,) Mrs. Tdbo and I vacationed out west. In Vegas, I rented a '12 Altima, and drove it up to Yosemite, and down the coast...

Would you buy a new Mitsubishi?

I do think the Sport is the direct copy with differences in trim and marque. However, there is still the Renault connection that factors into both marques. Six of one, and half dozen of the other.

Would you buy a new Mitsubishi?

Valid point. It may take some time, but Mitsubishi is working on the workaround: https://www.hagerty.com/media/opinion/mitsubishi-on-my-mind-is-its-small-presence-in-the-u-s-about-to-get-even-smaller/

Would you buy a new Mitsubishi?

They are decent cars. Lots of Nissan DNA in them anymore due to the previous Renault/Nissan/Mitsu merger. It's incumbent on you to determine whether or not you have an issue with that. Biggest issue for me would be the lack of Dealership support. Central Ohio (Columbus area) is now down to one.

Mixed 2 Cycle gas in a new vehicle?

It will be fine. Just do it on a fillup to dilute the mix. Have done it for years with my pickup when I want to change out my 2 cycle can.

Has Amazon (silently?) changed return refund policy?

We have had a number of Amazon returns lately. Has been very easy. I run them through the local Kohl's, and get the credit within an hour or two, at latest. However, I generally use Amazon GC's. Purchase them through Kroger or Giant Eagle for the Fuelperks, or get them for giving blood. My...

Complete re-do? Front end, 2006 Malibu

I'd say that if you have to tear it down anyway, may as well. None of the 19 year old parts are getting any younger.

    Quality replacement refrigerator?

Neither will anything. Basically, they are all junk.

    Quality replacement refrigerator?

My recommendation is one of the Whirlpool brands. Best parts accessibility and parts network.

    Dealer add on prices.

That is why dealers make more money on used cars than new ones. Was the salespersons name Ben Dover? The best way to get value out of that jeep is to sell it privately. Clean it up, get the hood and the back door resprayed, and go for top buck. It's a Jeep. Even with the miles, you should be...

Cost for extended manufacturer warranty on a Bosch refrigerator

I'm sure that under a Bosch factory warranty, it would be a Bosch trained tech. Yes, there is such a thing. I found that out when I had to have my less than 1 month old Bosch dishwasher repaired under warranty. In answer to the question, yes I found the guy to be highly trained. However, I'd...
