    Are Smart Watches really "Smart"??

Sure but they aren't comparable products. The only thing they have in common is they tell time.

    Tankless water heater suggestions?

If you have hard water and use less than 50 gallons a day I wouldn't recommend tankless. It will be cheaper and less maintenance to have a dual element electric. I work in propane and am always shocked at how much people spend for hot water, especially factoring in the hidden costs of propane...

Do shops charge women more for car repairs?

I've worked for dishonest businesses in the past. The root of the problem isn't charging more, it's outright lying about the work that is needed, or inflating book hours. However, I've also seen invoices with a 700% markup on bulk oil. If someone wants the work done "right now" I attach an...

Towing companies now use towing dollies?

Any tow company that is good will use dollies on passenger vehicles, AWD or not. Not a new thing, been around forever. Liability.

Pancake compressor for airing up tires?

If all you want to do is inflate you can buy an inflator. You don't need a reserve tank or regulator or 160psi. There's plenty of really good ones, don't let a cheap one sour you of them.

    The Ideal Uber Vehicle?

In the Seattle metro every uber I've had the last 3 years has been a Japanese hybrid or an EV. As a passenger do I not care about the car at all. If I were to drive for uber it would be an EV without question. It would make the most money, has Uber incentives and a similar ROI.

HumbleMechanic speaks to VW's direction and enthusiast community

Ironic. I just watched a video from a small engine youtuber and he shamed Honda for offering a complete, OEM carburetor assembly for a 20 year old generator, but didn't like the price. Reality is often disappointing.

    Block heater power calculation

I actually don't know the duty cycle of a block heater. Due to all the heat dissipation do they typically run at rated watts the entire time?

Why Do Knowledgeable Folks on Here use 20 wt Oil

There's a ton of multi run analysis threads and even ones comparing 30 and 20 in the same engine. Here's two I found in 1 minute: https://bobistheoilguy.com/forums/threads/17-civic-1-5t-108k-mi-pennz-euro-l-5w30-9-5k-mi.392845/...

    New low cost iPhone 16e

I'm sure the modem will work fine but it doesn't support precision tracking for 'Find My' and doesn't support mmWave. Pretty crazy that you spend $600 and they won't give you a cheap magnet for their own accessory, attachment and charging standard and won't help you find your lost items after...

    New low cost iPhone 16e

In my opinion it's a tiered product designed to steer people to their other products. It also bolsters the resale value of their older phones which are better products. However, there's no doubt this will be the go to corporate work phone for many businesses.
