    New Car Oil Flush?

Yes, you are crazy :-). You are way way too worried about nothing. Follow Honda's advise, and keep the factory fill in till 10% left. Let the break in fluids do their job. And NO you have not left the FF in too long, as was suggested here. Keeping it in long will not do any damage to your...

Technology Features Desired By Mature Drivers

I think ALL cars should analyze the air inside the car, for alcohol levels. A sensor in the HVAC. If the levels are too high, the car can still be driven, but signal is sent to law enforcement as a POSSIBLE problem driver. I think ALL cars should do the same thing for texting that is going on...

    I don't want a new car!

Cars are easier to diagnose, work on, and fix then ever in the history of cars. Often a tech need only plug the car into their computer, and the car tells the tech which part is faulty, what the problem is, or at least points them in the right direction. There are too many millions of late...

5 year cost of ownership (Cash buyers)

Depreciation is irrelevent if one is going to keep the car for the car's entire lifetime. My 2007 Yaris with power windows, mirrors, CD, A/T cost me cash $13,800 out the door. At 160,000 miles it has cost me $0.00 in repairs. I just maintain it and gas it. Nothing else. Had I bought any of...

CR Top 10 LEAST reliable cars

I have trusted CR for decades and rarely seen them miss the mark. Only those that own the cars CR hates (and for good reason) talk [censored] against CR. Usually Chrysler, LandRover, and some German car owners are the ones that hate CR. Reality is too painful for them.

Warming it up in the morning

In the mornings in Chicago winter, I start the car up, place a brick on the gas pedal, which holds the RPM's to 6,000, then go inside and have a nice 15 minute breakfast. By the time I drive off, the car is 210F and it's all toasty and nice.

    MPG's --- A/T vs. MT

In 2013, an AT that is controlled by a computer chip, and having 5, 6, 7 gears will almost always outdo a human, given the same exact car. You can tell the AT what is up ahead, what to anticipate with your right foot on the gas. Even AT's have some "manualness" to them.
