    Leaf Blower Gasket

I don't know if the original Poulan Pro backpack blower (BP 406) has the same cylinder head as your Pro 2 model; however, if it does it is the cylinder gasket: Poulan 110612148

Thoughts on the Acura MDX ?

While it is less of a concern with the current iteration of the J35 engine, do some research on Honda's VCM cylinder deactivation system before making a commitment. There are several past BITOG posts concerning the long-term problems with not muzzling the earlier generation J35 VCMs.

    Pros and bleeding brakes?

I had success using the Phoenix Systems V5 reverse bleeder as discussed in Post #15 in this previous BITOG thread. My history with a Motive Pressure Bleeder has been like yours...doesn't work well on my vehicles, even with the expensive custom caps.

Venting the heat out of the top of my arched exposed breezeway?

It may just be the angle of your photo, but I don't see any airflow opening to the ridge vent created by cutting out ~3" of the roof sheathing on both sides of the center ridge board as shown at the 4 minute mark of the video below.

Best adhesive to repair bottom car door trim.

I would use an outdoor rated urethane adhesive like the 3M product glass shops use to install windshields. It is strong enough to retain the windshield from ejecting in a high speed crash, so it will easily hold the vinyl trim piece. Another benefit is that it cures quickly. It is currently on...

NEW Vehicle Advice / Recommendations: Anyone? Subaru or Toyota? What says the gang?

RAV4 for best reliability/no drama or Mazda CX-5 (2025, not 2026) if you want a premium interior and sportier driver experience. RAV4 Hybrid would be my choice if you are amenable to hybrid technology (and 40+ mpg). Just say "no" to Subaru unless you really need the AWD system for the winter.

    Auto insurers and older cars

Whoever you use, be sure to get the repair agreement contract written in specific detail. My best friend was in a similar situation due to a deer collision. His insurance company, State Farm, totaled the pristine Honda Accord and he got it through a buyback. Took it to the highest rated indy...

Venting the heat out of the top of my arched exposed breezeway?

Contrary to what the ridge vent and shingles manufacturers (e.g., GAF, Owens Corning, etc.) want you to believe with their product marketing propaganda, ridge vents do a very poor job of allowing air movement via convection motion. To effectively displace the hot air trapped in an attic/enclosed...

    Recommend 1/4" torque wrench

I have never used any 1/4" drive analog torque wrench that has a pronounced "click" at the lower range settings. The Capri has a audible click starting around the 55 in-lb. setting and gets louder as you go up in torque settings. I think only the digital torque wrenches will give a clear...

    Recommend 1/4" torque wrench

For the money, I am a fan of the Taiwanese CAPRI TOOLS Torque Wrenches. Even though the adjustable scale is marked 20 - 150 in-lbs., Capri conservatively rates it as being accurate from 30-150 in-lbs. since the bottom ~20% of the scale is assumed to be questionable at best. No plastic parts and...

    aerobic septic system requirement?

Here is an article that describes the differences and benefits/drawbacks of each system. My suspicion is that the soil conditions do not meet the percolation standards needed to sustain a conventional anaerobic septic system and/or wetlands issues.

Need a 10mm 'swivel head open end wrench'

If the bolts are tight enough to bend a wrench, they are likely corroded in place. The next move would be to soak them with penetrating oil and/or heat them with a propane torch.
