Ok, so what are your thoughts on doing Redline 5w-20. Its pour point is -49° so it’ll be perfectly fine for our winters here. We usually only go below zero for a week or two a year. I’ll other specs seem fine. Will probably use the Fill or Puralator filter.

That stuff is $27/quart 😱

It’s going to be 97° on Friday. I believe that’s considered hot to most.

Presumably a Subaru OEM filter is the best bet, right?

I put Liqui Moly in my DSG with an OEM filter. I'll let you know if my DSG dies on the side of the road somewhere.

I went with Liqui Moly 8100 DSG fluid. We'll see if it works well.
