    When would be a good time to buy oem parts pre-emptively?

    At least in my experience with Honda parts they get more expensive as time goes on. A similar part for a 5 year old car is cheaper than a 15 year old for example.

    Definitely don't add LED bulbs to halogen headlights. Everyone will hate you. Aftermarket headlights can be hit or miss.

    I have a Heatshield brand shade. Nice quality and custom fit to my car. Between the sun shade and window tint it definitely makes it better.

    Current gen Civic's are nice. (2022+) You can get one with a 2.0L NA port injection engine.
