On Wednesday (12/14/22) my son had the FM Original 40, duals out the back with 3.5" rolled tips. I think it sounds like a GT Mustangs factory exhaust. He's very happy and that's all that matters.

Oh yeah, He also said he likes the 2020+ Shelby GT 500's exhaust sound. But I bet those mufflers are quite expensive.

I had a 69 F100, 390 HI PO, 4 speed, with Hooker headers into Thrush glass packs. It sounded much better after the fiberglass left the mufflers.

I have used FM, DYNOMAX, BORLA, THRUSH, and headers with straight pipes, no mufflers. I prefer headers with no mufflers. Wait, I'm going down memory lane......back to my son's truck. I have used FM a few times. I liked them. I never had a droning sound in my interiors. I do like DYNOMAX as well...
