Service writers do NOT make those decisions. Oil costs money this is something he or she could mention but ultimately would be up to the GM to green light such a proposal and i highly doubt that's gonna happen.

So all the engines that have 100's of thousands of miles on them using 0w20-5w20 have bad timing chains ? At this point it's safe to say the lower weight oils work period. My Civic has 237.000 miles the chain is a no issue.
The problem with TP-Link is they do not support there product very long and new firmware is something they clearly don't care about. That's why they are a huge target for exploit. Cheap routers with very little end user support. I would just stay away.
