    FRAM TG9999 cartridge filter

Came off the 2007 Hyundai Santa Fe V6 and agreed Hyundai OEM filters are good. FRAMs cost a little less and more convenient for me to get. I think the filtering efficiency is higher on the TG and XG FRAMs over the OEM.

    FRAM TG9999 cartridge filter

This one ran around 5,500 miles. Looks good to me. Tough guard cartridges have impressed me. Going the Ultra route now for two OCIs as price is not much different than the tough guard at Wally World.

5w30 Quaker State defy now API SN too!

Yep, I saw the 10w30 in the new bottles as well. All grades seem to be moving to SN. Quaker State never responded to a question I sent them months ago about why they seemed to be getting low in inventory at local Walmarts. Guess we know why now. Pretty bad not to get back to consumers though. I...

Quaker State Defy - now API SN resource conserving

I ran Defy 5w30 in our Hyundai the past two OCIs. I have noticed Walmart is not replenishing their stock though in any of the grades. I'm thinking the brand is getting a complete overhaul and Walmart is waiting for the new stock to be sent. I get the feeling that the SL rating is going to be gone.
