    The slowest speed IS a might too fast for drilling anything in metal over about 1/8" IMO. I am going to slow mine down a bit more, (on the cheap) lf you're on the fence, BUY IT!

    next, I'm going to get me A 1/4" Hex adapter and run the chuck open and closed with an 1/4" lmpact driver!! l do it all the time with my 3/8" lmpact on my 3 and 4 jaw on my metal lathe!

    Yep! Nothing wrong with the 12V system, especially in your application! Even the older battery systems!

    I know, Don't get me started brother! Now 99.9 of the time, UPS is wonderful though!!!! Sometimes l send tools and such to my brother ln Parker Colorado! They must have a HUB almost next store! SUNDAY!! past, l sent him 18650 batteries and they got there the same day!!

    ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ I have a Fair number of 2-4-5-and 6 Ah Dewalt batteries, and TBH, don't use them a whole heck of a lot to worry about it. I know one thing though! One charge seems to last darn near forever and a day!@

    @Pablo . Acme thread tail stock feed; Often times I will drill a hole in my stock on a lathe down the center. One then uses the feed wheel to advance the stock into the spinning drill bit/chuck. Electrical gurus how can I easily slow this unit down even more it has variable speed but it's not...

    It's not funny 😭 I'm serious. The little chuck key that came with it doesn't fit correctly and is a PITA I FOUND this little Craftsman breaker bar in 1/4" and it's good though!
