With the promotion the XP is about the same price as the normal Wix. I was wondering if it was really a decent enough deal that I should grab a few.

Oreilly's has an instant rebate on K&N and Wix XP filters right now. The Wix XP for my car was around 8 bucks, and the K&N was 13 if I remembered right. How does the XP compare to a regular Wix filter?

Valvoline Maxlife or similar high mileage oil, Motorcraft filter. Run it for 5k or so. Hard to beat this being only 20 bucks and change.

They actually called me to verify my tire selection, since the tires I chose are on the verge of being too large, and they explained how to get the ball rolling on the rebates. You don't see customer service like that very often.

Just got a set of Konig Incident 17" wheels with matching Vogue UHP tires for 600 bucks after rebates. There are some killer deals on tires and wheels on there.

I forgot to mention that I've been using Maxlife blend, not the full synthetic, which isn't available here. Would there be any advantage to using Valvoline Synpower, or Supertech full synthetic? Both of these are not much more expensive than the Maxlife.
