Mine had a handshaker. Last year for the manual in the Forester.

My '18 Forester was like that. 4.44 gears but 6th gear was like .6:1 overdrive. It still screamed on the highway.

I don't know about PA laws, but in NY you can transport up to 70 miles. You can go further if you certify that it's been heated to a certain temperature to kill the boarers. Just had two ash trees taken down.

I think the hottest I got my 2018 6 speed was almost 260. I was on a seasonal highway in the winter on a Jeep run. It was probably 5+ minutes of my foot to the floor with the engine over 4000 RPM the entire time, hitting the rev limiter multiple times while blasting through the snow.

I'm guessing it's the ridiculous torque available instantly
