Kohler Generator Oil - Gaseous Fueled

Your water cooled unit is easy on oil. The big bore air cooled units will trash the oil pretty quickly. I treat mine like my zero turn mower engine.

Kohler Generator Oil - Gaseous Fueled

I would avoid the 10W40. My reasoning is winter start up. I am currently running Shell Rotella T6 5W40 in my Generac. Generac specifies 5W30 synthetic. It gets pretty hot here in the summer. I also use the same oil in my Kawasaki Mule. I don't have to have as many grades of oil on hand.

The Hyundai/KIA 2.4 engine has a compression ratio of 13:1. Running 91 to 93 octane fuel is important. DO NOT run 87 octane in these engines. You are asking for trouble. Knock sensors and the computer might not save you. The current 2.5 NA has a 13:1 compression ratio. The 2.5T has a 10.5:1...

I avoid the large corporate tire stores for that very reason. My local Ford dealership beats their prices too.

You will be fine with 5,000 mile oil changes. I had a 2013 KIA Optima and that interval worked for me. I never had a problem. We traded it at 65,000 miles. The owners manual stated 3,750 miles for severe service and 7,500 for normal service. I split the difference. The Mobil 1 ESP 0W30 is a...

There is not a lot of information on your Odyssey. What year? How many miles? What engine? Are you having to add oil between changes? Are you having to add coolant?

Wife using rolling seat around planting beds - is that allowed?

Someone is fortunate. I'm going to have to hire someone to tend ours or put in sod all the way to the house. I prefer sod and NO flower beds.

Euro oil spec thats better than dexos 1/r?

"Ok, but in a GM engine? In a TDI GM engine where, as you can see above, they have a specific test for LSPI? That's a failure of logic." When you say GM TDI engines, are you talking about the Duramax? The reason I'm asking is TDI is a diesel engine. European manufacturers have been mass...
