The Govt is deeply embedded in the decision making of the OEM's. I doubt any of the public will ever be privy to the inner workings. Like so many other aspects of todays society even if you could produce documents part of the public wont believe them.

Agreed. Its a form of virtue signaling IMHO. Similar to people who move to the left lane on the freeway when they see someone merging even if traffic is light and the blend in would be very easy. This has created people who think youre obligated to move over rather than it being a courtesy.

Around here theres a versatile mix of people who are just plain stupid and dont have the talent to do a 4 way stop along with the distracted texters that never see the sign and the others that just dont care about stopping.

If you look at pollen under magnification it looks like a bur. It is very tough on paint, especially Pine tree pollen.

The Florida state parks reservation system is a huge mess. The state has taken back control from the contractor that had run it for a few years. Lots of resellers scamming the system. Its gotten to the point where its just not worth the hassle.

The RV ones are also a mess.

Its accurate in that the vehicles I am talking about are late model and around 5yrs or less. Up here a 10 year old car is easy to spot by the holes along the bottom of it. ;)
