First time I have seen expiration date on oil packaging. Before anybody tries to correct me, I know the industry standard is 5 year recommended shelf life, just I have not seen it label before that way.

Also looks like paint on the gasket. Like it was made for another customer and they just sent these back through paint a second time.

You have to track down an application guide for it. I know it cross reference to the FRAM PH10575 for most applications it calls out. It is a 22mm thread and I think most if not all NISSAN's are 20mm thread.

But do they actually need to be more efficient? I have said it before that the chase for “better efficiency” seems to be more for marketing to retail consumer end users to sell higher margin priced filters than actual technical need by the vehicle/engine manufacturers calling for it.
