JL/JT are lifestyle vehicles. When you try and box them in and compare to other vehicles, they fail miserable when it comes to ride quality and creature comforts. Off Road and they are in their own category and probably the largest supported aftermarket of any vehicle.

Kind of nice they offer the service when most other oil companies will not. Basically, boils down to how people value their time and ease of convenience? I would imagine the farther someone is away from either Walmart or other box store retailers, the more attractive this would be.

This guy has put his money where his mouth is and has about 4 or more cut opens of USA made factory OEM, FRAM, Purolator, WIX and Champs with blown pleats across multiple vehicles. I have yet to have a bad Asian made oil filter. You do you boo, but this guy is not gonna regularly reward...

Filters are tough sell here. You are competing with other sellers on the web that have deep commercial shipping discounts that can make their per unit cost with shipping much cheaper. You almost have to give them away.

Not unheard of for filter makers to contract with another to supplement or round out their catalog offerings. While they are overall competitors with each other, they do need each other at any given time to pick up each others slack.
