Fram TG 3600 and Valvoline Restore & Protect.

Where the seam, pleat end and fiber end cap meet, it was disbonded across 3 pleat ends.

The E-Core be slipping also. I recently had a E-Core FRAM PH10575 that was disbonded from the fiber end cap and the wide pleat spacing join seam

Fram TG 3600 and Valvoline Restore & Protect.

3614 and 3600 TG and PH fiber endcap FRAM's have always been hit or miss but it seems to be more miss of late. Like the factory plant manager gets a bonus for every millimeter of media they can save when they make these filters.

Fram TG 3600 and Valvoline Restore & Protect.

That wide pleat spacing did it no favors and I would not be using another one if me.

    Wix xp rust

looks like the ADBV is also pinched, hence the part of it peaking out the outlet hole. I say return it for full refund and get a Car Quest Blue premium filter from Advance Auto.

Pentius PLXL 7317 Initial Impressions vs Microgard Select

I think there is a commonality of same tooling being used by different oil filter companies in China also and not just that many filters are made in the same factories.

    Ecogard X2500-B

My only niggle with Ecogard filters in the past is the nitrile ADBV get hard as rock with anything past 4-5 thousand miles.

Which oil? 1983 LeBaron 2.6l (Mitsubishi engine)

Remember have one in a 1986 Dodge Minivan as a rental. Merging onto interstate traffic and it grenaded. Fought tooth and nail with the rental company from trying to charge us for engine replacement. Found out later their back lot was filled with about 8 examples of the same that gave up the ghost.

What does the "B" suffix mean in the part number? Edit - Just realized it was a "Bulk" pack.

Opinion on these filter brands - Baldwin, Donaldson & Fleetguard

I know with Baldwin, they do not chase a good, better or best line of filters and unless the OEM of the application it is applied to wants better efficiency, then they will make a more efficient filter and list it as such. So whatever Baldwins application guide lists for your vehicle, it is...

Is this filter longer version of the YZZD1?

No clue why you think this is a adversarial discussion. Not picking a fight for some non existent internet win.

Is this filter longer version of the YZZD1?

I am sure "19.05 x 1.588 mm" on a spec sheet would be more confusing.

Is this filter longer version of the YZZD1?

That is a Japan thing to list SAE inch fraction sizes in the millimeter decimal point size.

I have the exact same mower and have to run a shorty filter also for the same reason. Currently running a Lube-Finer PH3656. Best value shorty OPE filter on Amazon is the Ecogard SE-1 oil filter for under $5. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00I8IJCGE

Precision Parts PPG2500 (Premium Guard) Cut Open

Was in use for 3067 miles on my 2025 Jeep Gladiator 3.6L Pentastar with a Baxter Performance oil filter adapter. Oil used was Quaker State Full Synthetic 5W-40 Euro. Nothing notable and uneventful with...

12 pack AC Delco UPF63R Amazon

Seems to materialize for some. I do agree about the too good to be true though as even at the current $19 listing, still way under priced for what it is. Especially for something sold and shipped by Amazon
