That would make sense for the alternator and the coolant pumps but why the starter motor? If it’s been running for 14 hours why would that affect the starter motor? Heat soak damage?

None of them have a relationship that’s classed as good though, would be interesting to know if any auto maker get‘s into that 350+ area.

Don’t leave it idling. People who start the engine and leave it idling to warm up are the ones who have cylinders scuffing issues. Start it and drive it.

In the UK the only people who pay attention to public sector strikes are people who work in the public sector. Private sector workers tend to have zero interest in them.

So as I expected people don’t rate them in the rain which isn’t great in a country like the UK. It’s difficult to find a tyre in a suitable size that’s being imported here that gets good reviews. I can buy cheep tyres but I don’t want cheap tyres.

Did you find anything when you took the camshafts out with the movement of that exhaust cam?

Get it out for a long drive when you don’t need to be anywhere. That way if you do have issues with the car your not going to be late for work etc. If the car performs well then it will build your confidence in it.

Mechanic pay in the UK is totally awful. If I knew at 16 what I know now no way would I be turning spanner’s.

I’ve got duratracs at the moment and yes they are a bit noisy with some vibration at speed. I run a second set of wheels with some Pirelli’s on most of the time but these are about done now so looking for a tyre that I can leave on so I don’t need the duratracs.

I’m looking at all terrain tyres and the BFG ATKO2 get some good reviews but also gets some poor rain handling reviews too. Does anyone have direct experience with the latest version of this tyre? Thanks
