2010 Camry trans slipping after 2 drains; what now?

Professor Kelly on Weber Auto youtube channel did his research on the ATF, and he is very skeptical on the Maxlife ATF. Go see that video on "60-years of toyota ATF". It's a fact that Maxlife ATF does NOT have a single licence for this ATF, and it claims that it's compatible to Dexron 6, totoya...

2010 Camry trans slipping after 2 drains; what now?

assuming the ATX was taken care of before you bought it (meaning the ATF is properly refreshed every 30K miles, toyota's 10K miles recommendation often indicates it's too late to change), there are two things to check: 1) type of fluid the shop used, if it's generic stuff, it will mesh up the...

Really need help!!Ngk Spark plug vibration

My bet is that the OP disconnected the battery while changing spark plugs (which is the right thing to do), but then that means the ECM needs to relearn about the throttle control. If the butterfly is not clean, you will have rough idle before the relearn process is complete.

Camry lower ball joint replacement trick needed

Hi, Trav, yes. that makes sense to leave the nuts and bolts intact before breaking the ball loose. I've seen many youtube videos in which they removed the link and then beat the ball joint around... Thanks.

Camry lower ball joint replacement trick needed

Thanks all for the responses...in the video, the tech pried against the CV joint to push the ball joint stem out... I am not sure that's a good idea. Question for kschachn, when you removed the drive shaft, did you have to remove the steering tie-rod end for the hub to swing out?

Camry lower ball joint replacement trick needed

The Camry in my signature has reached 110,000 miles as it enters the 6th year of service. Did an oil change recently, and noticed that the driver side lower ball joint is leaking grease. Checked wheel, no play. The passenger side is good. Honestly did not expect the ball joint to fail this soon...

    Ryobi drill 14.4v battery

I have had this drill for so many years, drill works fine, but battery is dying, and Ryobi is no longer selling the 14.4v batteries. Amazon has them but they are not OEM, reviews are mixed. What do you do in situations like this? Buy a new drill? Thanks.

non-contact voltage tester beeps near table lamp that's on dimmer switch

This might be a dumb question... the voltage (as in title) tester beeps near (about a foot) a table light that is on a Lutron dimmer switch when the light is on. Nothing when it's off. I also found that the tester beeps when I get near a fluorescent lighting fixture (4 ft tubes). Is it normal...

help me diagnose this misfire code

Thanks for all the comments and suggestions. I checked my records, plug change was done in 2015 at 177,000 miles. So less than 30k on the plugs. I should note that the misfire (cylinder specific, not random misfire) happened earlier of the year. All the occurrences were at cold start, and they...

Hi, irad, bank 1 O2 sensor (upstream of CAT) was replaced a few years ago with a Denso one, due to heating circuit failure. Bank 2 has original O2 sensor, which I harped on bank2 OL-Fault initially. All plugs were replaced with the bank 1 O2 sensor, wires and ignition module (not COP) are...
