I use the shorter version of the 400, the MC 910s. I change oil in my Craftsman 21HP rider every two years as well and it appears to hold up well. My change is coming up soon.

Same here. I've been driving them exclusively now for about 38 years. However my first Ford was a 69 Fairlane which was a reliable car.

Between me and my son we put 354K on a 91 Ford Ranger with the Vulcan engine. The VCs were never removed and there was no sign of wear. I used M1 10-30 at 10K OCIs.

Fords have served me well as I normally put high miles on them.

I want to make a point; I am not saying 10K OCIs are for all engines in every application. However, it has worked well for me in every engine I've used M1 in the last four decades.

I had one injector fail electrically so I replaced all four.

Luck doesn't have anything to do with my 45-year success using M1 oils. When I claim no issues with my 10K OCIs with M1, I mean I haven't had a single oil related problem. The Fusion still doesn't show any sign of engine wear, as in ring coking, sludge, varnish, or increased oil consumption.
