I realized I never answered this question. I think most of the Honda cams I've seen, including my own Odysseys, are roller followers.

Almost to 40,000 miles on it. Did the world's cheapest brake job last July. Fixed some vibrations on braking. Rotors were corroded, making a "donut" wear pattern on the inboard side. Car is getting a little less use lately, since we picked up a Honda Accord Hybrid.

Also - these rotors are probably not original (at 255k miles), as the rotor retaining screws had been removed. I suppose someone could have removed them, turned them, and reinstalled or pulled them to replace wheel bearings or whatever, but I doubt it. For whatever reason, I have had pretty bad...

I could have used one for the timing belt job I just did on a Pilot... a lot of time spent working in the slot between the "front" of the engine and the body, spinning out bolts that were just a little too stiff to do with the fingers but not a lot of room to swing a ratchet.

I'd be hitting the pick-n-pull type yards, if you live in an area where there are several of them. I'm guessing it's pretty quick to pull the valve cover, especially if you have a battery-powered impact wrench. When my Odyssey front cam went bad, they were on backorder, so that's what I did...

I looked it up - it does have a differential with fluid that requires changing, as well as CV axles. Pretty sure there's no driveshaft though.
