    Filtering WD-40

We make a 2 micron grade of NanoNet media in at least one of our Fleetguard fuel filters...not sure the part number off the top of my head though. I think we make it for HHP engines so probably way overkill for your situation.

I ordered oil filters online the other day...

As mentioned previously, BUYER BEWARE when using sites like eBay or Amazon. We have experience seizing plenty of counterfeit product that comes from Asia, even being sold from "Cummins Filtration" or "Fleetguard" accounts that aren't us. Your best bet is to get the product from legitimate...

    Taking Filter Requests for Dissection

Doesn't appear we cross to either of these, but we do have one for the Motorcraft FL1A...grabbing the cellulose version and a synthetic version for it.

    Taking Filter Requests for Dissection

Hi all, After someone posted on here a week or two ago about Whip City Wrencher, I went and watched a few of his YouTube videos...interesting content. I sent him an email letting him know that if he ever wanted me to send him a filter or two for inspection that I would try to do that and he's...

WIX oil filter 57502 beta info question

Mentioned this before, but on HD diesel engines, the wear particles of concern in the lube system typically run between 10-30 microns. I'd suspect it's a similar size distribution for gasoline engines.

Stocked Up on Fleetguard LF17531 (Louver and Adhesive Pictures Inside)

Let me snag that photo you took and share with our warranty crew to see if they have any concern with it or not. I'll keep you posted. I'll ask about the anti-drain valve too. In my own ignorance, I notice people always asking about that on here. Is there something about nitrile vs silicone...

Does anyone watch the Whip City Wrencher YouTube channel. He cuts open all type of oil filters.

Went to that Whip City guy's channel and watched a video on him cutting open a Fleetguard lube filter. Interesting to see him looking at the media and trying to guess about it. I need to connect with him and send him a filter or two to cut open and inspect to show his audience on YouTube. Would...

A little annoyed with Wix today

That's correct. Filter life is typically based on the oil drain/change intervals set by the engine OEM. If you ever have any trouble with the getting the info you need through our 800 number, just let me know.

A little annoyed with Wix today

Right, your local heavy duty truck dealerships more than likely carry Fleetguard, but I can track down a specific dealership close to you if that helps. Also looks like you can order through Cummins online at shop.cummins.com if you want to give that a go...their site says they have them in...

    Air filter minder

If you want something a lot more reliable than the old school spring loaded gauges, here's a new solution that Fleetguard sells...LED air restriction indicator that changes color based on remaining service life: https://www.cumminsfiltration.com/sites/default/files/LT36639-9-16-2019.pdf

A little annoyed with Wix today

Fram PH10575 and WIX 57502 cross to Fleetguard LF17531...catalog shows it's 4.105" in overall height, so should work for you.

A little annoyed with Wix today

I could definitely link anyone up with a source for Fleetguard. Depending on the size of operation, you may qualify for discount pricing as well...just a heads up.

    Fleetguard HF6361 cut open

I'm looking in the system and can't see that level of detail listed unfortunately. I'll ask someone from the engineering side of things to see if there's a way we can find out.
