Use bigger and better filters in your OPE

Just changing the oil every few years is doing more than many engines see. The average home owner isn't going to wear out a mower, tiller, etc engine before the rest of the machine is worn out. "Better" in what aspect? The filter is an "add on" on many small engines to begin with. They do...

Small engines are super tough. No need to get fancy with expensive filters. Many don't even have filters.

How big is your stash, hoarders?

I have a 1000 gallon bulk tank. Usually keep 500-600 gallons in it. Also a 100 gallon tank for hauling fuel to the equipment.

Same. Readily available. Not fussing over some bountique fancy pants filter outfit when they only make filters for maybe 5% of my stuff and have to special order it. A decent filter in my possession is better than one I can't get and the equipment is down, costing me $$.

They are still fine. I deal with many fleet shops, they mostly run Wix, Baldwin and CAT. Talking thousands of trucks and pieces of equipment.

Not that many years ago engines did even have filters. Many engines still don't nowadays.

Choosing between Amsoil and Mystik for wheel bearing grease

I had P66 Megaplex do that. And turned to weird white residue just from rain (used it on some equipment). And stringy... made greasing and not making a pigsty mess tough. Ended up tossing a few boxes vs dealing with it!

Exactly. Unless the rotor or drum is worn beyond limits, there's no reason to replace.

    Paprika?

I feel my throat burning from acid reflux just looking at that pic! Definitely would be having a pb&j if that was supper. I might put a dash of salt on my chicken, otherwise plain is good.
