    Asian Blue Coolant

I highly doubt it's Prestone when WalMart is also the #1 seller of Prestone. Rumor I heard was it's Reochem which I have used in the past. The label on Reochem Asian Blue is nearly identical to OEM Nissan.

    Asian Blue Coolant

I had old BMWs. People said the BMW coolant was supposed to help the plastic. I switched 1 to G05 coolant and it didn't seem to matter. Same typical parts failed and leaked over time. I liked the theory that the cooling system pressure was too high as they got older and caused the parts to...

Does Size Matter? Engine Displacement….How Low Can They Go?

And the single port heads/intake manifolds were so restrictive you couldn't over rev the motor.

Does Size Matter? Engine Displacement….How Low Can They Go?

When I had a 65 VW bug it started off as a 1.2l 40hp. Pretty crazy. I had a full race 550cc jet ski that made 80+hp

Microsoft claims AI diagnostic tool can outperform doctors

Bills Gates loves playing doctor. I wouldn't trust him or windows to diagnose anything

How much per hour should I charge to fix A/C?

I usually charge 1/2 what a shop does. I only do work for friends who know ahead of time that I work when I want and won't do any jobs that take more than a couple days

Milwaukee M12 Surge and multi tool

I even had the m28 set for work. Pretty much hated it unless I was drilling multiple 1/2" holes in concrete. It was like trying to handle a Die Hard battery and an old Skil hammer drill in 1.

Milwaukee M12 Surge and multi tool

Nothing. I had the m18 set and didn't like it. I got the m12 fuel and its the perfect size for home / home shop use.

What are you watching on tv right now?

Ballard on prime. Sort of a let down vs the books. They did a much better job with Bosch

    Reliable water pump brands?

Don't bother with AC Delco. They dont make parts any longer. Its just a box with a China part inside like any other cheap brand

    Complaint about aftermarket parts

I've gotten some of those spares at Ikea. They will also send you missing hardware for free. They actually seem to care, they ask for the item #, mfg date etc. Listed on the box or maybe the manual so they can follow up and see if its a bigger issue.I was impressed.

    Complaint about aftermarket parts

Im sure it comes down to accounting and the need to show profits above all else. They dont care about the reputation of the company or long term customers.

    Complaint about aftermarket parts

I may or may not have done that. Maybe Moog just forgot to include a boot in the same part where I needed one

Progressive car insurance, found a way to lower rates

I've noticed they are jacking up the rates. Unfortunately, I shopped around and they were still the lowest. This is in California.
