Has anyone tried doing a piston soak with BG EPR? People seem to have good results when following the instructions, and it seems to be good and cleaning stuck rings. Would it be worth doing a piston soak with?

The STP uses various vendors. That looks like a Purolator filter? Def not a Premium Gard variant. I stopped using them and stick the the CarQuest premium / MicroGard Select.

As a matter of fact, Both BG and Wynns use the same exact fluid for systems with ATF and PSF. One is dyed red, to match what was in it. The other is clear/gold. Same fluid otherwise.

My truck has 4 Auto, 4 Lock, 2WD, and 4Low. I have noticed that it seems to hook up better in 4 Lock versus 4 Auto. The only time I ever really use it though is when we get some snow. Never have had it in the mud or dirt.

I was driving to work in the snow this morning, and started thinking about the 4WD system in my truck. Are they all the same when it comes to winter driving? Are some systems "better" than others? Not talking about advanced AWD systems, just regular 4WD systems in pick up trucks.

What fault code is it throwing? That would point you in a direction.

Is there a problem with high zinc and overhead cam engines? That bottle says specifically not for overhead cam engines?

Today I saw some Toro and Briggs & Stratton 5w30 "Winter Oil" for small engines. Is there anything different about these oils than a standard 5w30? Are they possibly saying 10w30 summer use, 5w30 winter use?

We use quite a few NGK and Delphi coils without too any issues. If the cost difference isn't too great, the Blue Streak coils seem to be top quality.

This came off an F-150 3.5 EcoBoost. At first I thought it was a Premium Gard filter, but this one has a nice wire mesh backed media. Very little info on the Service Champ website. Anyone familiar with these? They look nice. Had a silicone ADBV also (not in the picture)

The Premium XL used to be the MAS Premium XL before Dorman purchased them. They are very good parts. Sometimes they don't align with pricing from other manufactures. I can tell you that I have a set of Premium XL outer's and links that have over 90k on them (Ram 1500) and are still tight as...
