Can't you get your local manufacturer filters for very cheap ? Some of those are higher quality than the stuff from the USA.

yes it is on their site but they obviously left that older PDF up... you can see where it says nitrile gasket under "value features" but the current filters show silicone gasket. Now all the info is on every page for the specific filter like the 84356 below and you can see silicone gasket...

hey if Purolator would knock it off with louvers that might or might not be open in year 2025 🤭 🤭 plus quit using the black glue that apparently can break off.. and not have any wide gaps where media can possibly tear then I would buy that new filter they offer at Walmart.

how do you guys know they are connected to PG ?.. Afaik the far majority of the Asian factories from any of those countries use the core with holes and also a coil spring with very few using a leaf spring. I don't think I have seen any Asian filters with louvers but could be some out...

not really better but I have noticed the Pentius PLXL are cleaner built from the ones I have seen cut open.

I think the TG is now metal caps afaik with the Champ build or at least transitioning possibly. I guess most have issue with the Fram product leaking leaf spring from what I have read here. If Fram keeps these filters built with the Champ design and fixes that leaf spring I would probably go...

I think it is just a series called orange.. not designating the actual color. They also offer orange series motor oil in different color bottles.
