Look up the price of Wagyu steak. Now use your same logic and pretend that basis sets the price of an In-And-Out burger. Tesla sells very few Model S compared to Model 3 and Model Y volumes. I owned and drove a Model S for 10 years. I know what they used to cost. My Model Y is half the price...

No one knows exactly what or how Tesla's vegan leather is made. Or cares to accurately account for all aspects of growing leather, and processing to be suitable for car seats. What we do know is Tesla Vegan Leather costs less, is nicer, and wears longer. Win, win, win. I firmly believe the cost...

What makes you think Teslas are "100k cars"? I expect mine to last a whole lot longer than 100k miles. And it cost under $50,000. Model Y Long Range. I shopped, found nothing better.

And what does this have to do with "automated driving"? Tesla offers "FSD (supervised)" not automated not autonomous. Cameras and sensors work overtime to ensure the driver is paying attention else things start flashing, beeping, and unpleasant things. Then again I've never heard of anyone...

I rather like the seat material in my 2023 Model Y over the leather of my 2013 Model S. Also like the cloth seats in my F-150 XLT.

The original Model S in 2012 had a Detroit style plethora of options. IIRC 3 seat options, all leather. Several dashboard options. Sound/entertainment system options. Sunroof. Optional folding mirrors. Since that time Tesla has significantly reduced the number of orderable options. My Model Y...

NASA is one of those "countries with a government that is dead or dying." Had trouble keeping the Shuttle operational. Let other countries provide our critical space needs realizing it was no longer capable. Supposedly NASA's pet contractors would be able to provide what NASA inbreeding can no...

The simple fact that you think I think government and corporations are the same thing is sign enough that you can't comprehend the conversation. The fact government isn't a corporation which has to prove itself every day is why inefficiency breeds inefficiency. And NASA is so inbred they can no...

Eliminating waste in government, and transparency in what government is throwing money at is asinine? Musk simply applied the same techniques which have created several of the most exciting and innovative companies of the century. The natural progression of government has rendered NASA unable...

7200RPM Hard Disks - Are they still Power Hogs?

I think you need to download manufacturer's data sheets on prospective hard drives. Not all 7200 RPM drives will be the same. Nor all 5400 RPM drives.

Synthetic oil bad in a lawnmower? Any truth in this self proclaimed experts statements?

Some refined oils have greater consumption than others, and often it depends on the engine. I think you are wrong to assume any synthetic motor oil will have less consumption than a refined oil, or that all synthetic motor oils will have less consumtion. It's simply magic.
