    Interesting. My gas cap was leaking badly and I just replaced the gas tank and have a new cap. I will give it a try, like you say it is worth a shot.

    It runs about 30 minutes and then just dies. It needs 20 minutes or so to cool down to restart. Right after it dies, starter fluid does not help.
