    Need Recommendations For Outdoor Camera

I only have my doorbell camera set up so far. Have had very little spare time because I am extremely busy at work. The doorbell camera is a lot of fun, you can be fifty miles away and see the postman delivering the mail to your mailbox.

    Need Recommendations For Outdoor Camera

After considering all the recommendations, this is what I have settled on 1) Eufy S340 SoloCam 2) Eufy Floodlight Camera E30 3) Eufy Door Bell Camera 4) Eufy Home Base S380 - I might not get this one now unless it comes on sale. I will buy them during the Amazon Prime Days. I am hoping they...

    Need Recommendations For Outdoor Camera

I will be buying four cameras. Does it matter if I mix and match or should they be all from the same manufacturer? I can see one disadvantage to mixing and matching, needing to have more than one app in my phone.

Original VW Beetle Fuse Marked 15/8

Just checked the rose coloured fuse bodies and they have 16 cast into them. The fuse link is thicker on the rose one. It looks like white body = 8 amp and rose body = 16 amp. 16 is an odd number for a fuse but Beetles were using 8 and 16 amp fuses...

Original VW Beetle Fuse Marked 15/8

The photo is not clear enough to show the 15/8, but it is cast into the white ceramic body.. I don't know if it is a fuse rating (15 amp or 8 amp) or whether it has nothing to do with the fuse link installed on the ceramic body. Which brings up the question - if not the fuse rating, how do you...

    Need Landscaping Help

I cannot get rid of the tree even if I wanted to. The city wants to preserve its trees and requires you to apply for a permit before any tree removal and will refuse to issue the permit unless there was the danger of the tree falling over or some other compelling reason. The poor shape of the...

    Need Landscaping Help

What can I do to make my front yard a bit more attractive? I am not into gardening and, being busy with work, have no time for it. Some sort of permeable paving? The tree sheds a lot and the paving should not interfere with sweeping up the yard.

How Well Do Knipex Cobra Pliers Work As Pipe Wrenches?

I actually have one of the Nutbusters. They do grip well but the jaws don't open wide enough to grip large bell trims. Just like Knipex pliers, once locked on to a pipe, you can apply force to just the top handle to turn the pipe.

How Well Do Knipex Cobra Pliers Work As Pipe Wrenches?

No chance of the Milwaukee Smooth Jaws working on conical trims, stuck or even free.

How Well Do Knipex Cobra Pliers Work As Pipe Wrenches?

What is this "two hammer trick" you speak of? Are you referring to just hammering on one of the pipe wrenches with a hammer to break the union loose?

How Well Do Knipex Cobra Pliers Work As Pipe Wrenches?

These trims are corroded way beyond strap wrenches or rubber belting. The conical shape is what makes it difficult. Strap wrenches work well on cylindrical objects, not so well on cones. If I push down hard on the pipe wrench, it bites on the cone and spins it off.

How Well Do Knipex Cobra Pliers Work As Pipe Wrenches?

I have many pipe wrenches, including a 18in straight, 18 in angled, 2 ft and 3 ft, all Ridgids. The Knipex will be used for bell trims on faucets like the one below. When they are stuck on from corrosion, the trim has to grabbed from the bottom and turned. Channellocks will some times slip and...
