    Snowblower Carb...too Lean?

Some years...3-5 inches today/tomorrow. I like seasons and no palmetto bugs 😉

    Snowblower Carb...too Lean?

That's what I'm thinking might be the case (unavoidable) considering both the old and new carb are the same. No idle mixture screw on this carb.

    Snowblower Carb...too Lean?

Correct, full load no issues. Sitting there idling is the only time it does this, and only with the choke open (partially closed it smooths out, but then obviously doesn't have the same power under load. I went through everything when I installed the new carb...all looks good. Line is clear...

    Snowblower Carb...too Lean?

I have a Chonda 357cc engine on my snowblower. I bought it used last fall and noticed that with the choke fully open it stumbles a bit. The choke knob has 4 positions (let's say position 1 is closed and position 4 is full open), and if I keep it on position 3 it's smooth as butter. On full open...

The average car loan today is $48,000

What are the times you would ever say that he is better off? Throwing away all his money on rent and car payments and no money left over? Sounds like he doesn't actually own a single thing.

    Auto ins just doubled!

Drivers are worse/more distracted, cars are more expensive to repair/replace, and both of those factors will continue to get worse. Why is anyone surprised that rates are increasing? Insurance is simply communal cost-sharing...we pay for the sins of others.

82% of mortgaged homes have a rate below 6%

The back end of those color curves are the most telling...confirming what we already know: the lower the rate, the flatter the curve = less people selling.

Regapped spark plug, now mower starts easier than ever.

The factory gapped Champion that came in the Briggs 223 on my Timemaster was the same story...engine always ran slightly rough at idle and took two pulls on the rope to start. When I replaced it with an NKG and widened the gap the idle smoothed out and now it starts with one pull. Never assume...

    M18 mid-torque impact wrench

Yeah I'm aware, hoping to definitively be able to confirm when it arrives. We will see. If I have any doubts I'll return it.

    M18 mid-torque impact wrench

Well I bought the 2962-20 on Amazon for $135 minus $130 in gift cards, so with tax under $15 out of pocket. I know that it's not a Milwaukee authorized seller so warranty might be an issue, but from what I can tell based on reviews it's the genuine product. I'll give it a closer look when it...

    EBC Rotors/pads vs Akebono/Powerstop?

OK now my only concern with the EBC kit is dust...seems there are mixed reviews on whether or not the dusting can be excessive with the Ultimax 2 pads. The Ultimax 2 per EBC is "fully non-metallic" but also not ceramic? Little confusing. EBC does not make red stuff pads for my application...

    Garden Hose Water Flow Meter

They also make units with timer to automatically turn on and shut off after a given amount of time or quantity...sounds like that might be useful to you to automate so that this tree gets watered 100% automatically like it were on the system alone. Additionally, for irrigation in general flow...

    Auto ins just doubled!

So funnel monthly payments to yourself into a vehicle "escrow" and use that to pay the annual premium. No different than how most people pay property taxes. Your car escrow could cover insurance, registration, maintenance...really anything else you would want to throw at it. Then all of those...

For the OP propane is less than half his electric cost.

Two hot retirement states, one expected, one surprise

You have to keep in mind that his 1% accounts for such an infinitely higher proportion of total revenue than my and your contributions. I don't want to get political, but the 1% cover roughly a quarter of total revenue as it is. Apples to oranges.

    Garage heat options

If I were you I'd get a large enough propane tank to supply a gas overhead unit. It'll do a good job keeping a set temp and easily warm the space up when you want it warmer. Do not go electric...it'll cost you an arm and a leg at those temps and your rates are high.

🤣 WV would be a balmy escape for retirees in the north.

What are you doing right now?

Out of town on a work trip and went to Blaine's Farm and Fleet to kill time. Found a 14" rear wiper blade on clearance for $0.88. I need to replace the wipers on the MDX soon anyways, so a great find. Will I make it through the TSA with it in my carry-on is the question :ROFLMAO:
