Did You Do A "Break-In" Oil Change On Your Riding Lawn Mower/Zero-Turn?

I have the ZT HD with Kawasaki FR691V. I was advised by dealer to change oil around 10-15Hrs, and did so with Kawasaki 20W-50. They did not say to change oil filter, but I did that as well, Whatever the OEM part is. But admittedly I don't think the Kawasaki Manual even suggest to do this like...

Monaco Grand Prix new viewing experience

Who does that alternate broadcast. I don't generally dislike the Sky broadcast except the bias towards certain teams and British individuals. Monaco is a classic, but not necessarily great racing.

Purolater boss 46 micron and purolater one 30 micron

I'm surprised they provided that level of detail. Unfortunately that detail is pretty revealing that filtration is not a priority.

Aside from the heat capacity of water and glycol, theoretically you can improve heat transfer through some other mechanisms. Dispersants, surfactants, and anti-foam agents can reduce bubble formation, cavitation, and surface tension of the coolant to improve heat transfer. But that would be...

Treasury or annuity for retirement monies not needed?

Anything can happen at any given time. Don't predict the markets unless you know something nobody else knows. Either way your strategy should be based on long term outlook and include a risk tolerance...so it should not matter.

Treasury or annuity for retirement monies not needed?

You cannot begin to evaluate this without knowing the lump sum payout. Your aversion to equities is only founded because you bought individual stocks. Buy SP500 or total market fund. Even in retirement it doesn't make sense to be totally out of equities. But to each their own, Sounds like your...

Fram Endurance - synthetic and wire backed

Weasel words? They say that across their entire line of filters, not just FE line. Please look into other brands claims. Others typically test only 1 filter per line and its usually a larger than average filter, whereas Fram is testing 3 sizes. So, while I can't speak to your question I don't...

Summer blend is here . Called local gasoline supplier and verified it .

https://www.eia.gov/todayinenergy/detail.php?id=11031 "For logistical reasons, the transition to low-RVP gasoline happens over the course of several spring months as temperatures rise and to facilitate lowering the RVP of remaining inventories of winter-grade gasoline. The federally mandated...

Is there an official policy of posting vehicle images with license plates visible?

The only issue I see you are doing this on private property as a paid employee. So, yes I would scribble the license plate. If you're just walking on the street and snap a picture in public place that is different.

Hyundai and Kia Cheap out as much as possible on all components to give you what looks to be a feature-filled car with decent size and specs. Buyer beware.

I'm not sure i'm following what the situation was before. But, Not sure why use the additive. I'm not convinced it is a) necessary or b) isn't counterproductive in some circumstances.

Spectrum Internet - how to lower bill

I am rural and can strongly urge against DSL or satellite. 5G should also be cautioned depending on how close you are to a tower, but generally it is less reliable that wired high speed internet.

Can someone take a look at this fuel system cleaner and offer opinions?

esters? It seems to have solvents, cylinder lubricant, and the proprietary ingredient might be PEA (albeit fairly low concentration). Seems ok.

    Quaker State Ultimate Protection 5W-30

Yes there are organic friction modifiers, viscosity modifiers, antioxidant additives, and changes in base oils that are all possible differences that would be difficult to discern from a simple oil analysis. So, the fact that QSUD looks very similar to QSFS means something, but not enough to...

So what's the "go-to" PEA based fuel additive? Indirect and direct injection engines...

I wasn't advocating that non top-tier fuel is sufficient. I'm a firm believer in Top Tier. Just stating that there are minimum requirements that might make more than a maintenance dose unnecessary. I use strictly top tier and use a PEA additive at the recommended dose 2x per oil change at...

So what's the "go-to" PEA based fuel additive? Indirect and direct injection engines...

Ok, I guess outside of special circumstances I don't see the need for a "cleaning dose". In the US and Canada we have Top Tier and minimum requirements for all gas. And you've demonstrated caution should be used when using higher dosing than the manufacturer recommends.

So what's the "go-to" PEA based fuel additive? Indirect and direct injection engines...

Absolutely. I guess i'm not certain what you're trying to accomplish. But I will try to add my 2 cents. In this post I was trying to discern PEA dosing recommendations. At the time Techron's SDS said 25-35%. With a very high relative treat rate. Now they dropped it to 10-20%PEA, which I can...
