What I think the manager means is that the 2nd key would be "killed" in that the code programmed from that key into your vehicle is deleted from the computer. And because of that it will not be able to work with your vehicle. I'd definitely let them delete all the keys in the ecu/bcm/computer...

In both the service manual and the owner's manual it only recommends the Mazda part number for the spark plug. Nowhere does it say anything about aftermarket. I ended up using the Mazda part number to cross reference to NGK. Bought the Laser Iridium version. They've been working very well.

I think I know that exhaust company in NJ they're on ebay. Northeast Exhaust some name like that. Bought a cat-back exhaust in 409 stainless from them, it was for my 96 Civic. Awesome quality and a complete copy of Honda's system, down to the welded brackets! There's good stuff out there...

oh ya, no problem, as long as they listed that, they are telling the truth and would measure right around 5k. It'll be interesting to see how these perform compared to the originals. (y)

Why did you ask what hose to use if they were already included in the kit? I didn't realize that you had a kit already, thought you were putting one together. Yes the brand @50yr Street Mech mentioned is the same type of hose I had mentioned before. There's nothing wrong with using an oil...

Thanks.. ya I was just thinking we're going to see many more batteries suffer a short life because they're short charged. I know with some cars a wire can be cut/disabled and the alternator won't try to "smart charge" which short charging is anything but smart. Wonder if that's a mod that...

so is it the heat alone, which I already knew.. but could it also be a combo of the new alternators that are not fully charging the batteries plus the hotter temps?? that's leading to these batteries lately not lasting as long as they did?

I'd go with the transmission hose as it's oil compatible which is what PCV vapor is. Oil vapor. You could probably get away with the Fuel hose but it could very well get mushy over time.. Try O'reilly or Advance auto they have Gates brand (which I've never had a failure) trans oil hose in...
