    Reclaimed Oil for push mower.

Yeah I'm using it as flush oil. Reclaimed oil saved 44oz of new compressor oil or pcmo flushing out my air compressor that filled up with water, then saved 2qt of gear oil flushing a ford 9'' that had opaque brown metalized oil in it and about a quart filling and flushing out a lawnmower that...

Oil for slightly neglected ford explorer 4L sohc

I found a longer one. Searched all wix 22x1.5mm filters. Turns out there's just not a huge selection of 22x1.5mm filters with oring diameters that will fit on passenger vehicles.

STP filter "2 oil changes" unknown miles cut open with sludge deposits!!

yeah I figured by the 3rd or 4th oci most of the sludge would be gone. I was way off. I thinks that last one was the 5th and it seems like it's no where close to being gone.

    $0 R-134a recovery.

Yeah I'm sure ester oil would break down in the environment very quickly compared to pao or even dino oil.

    Mobil1 75w-90 vs brandx 75w-85

Well the thinner 75w-85 gear oil allowed me to find what is hopefully the last leak on the 9.25 inch rear. For a while. The speed sensor oring was cut, had a chunk taken out of it. Probably been that way for 26 years. I jacked it up and ran it at 60mph and the more or less "30wt viscosity" of...

STP filter "2 oil changes" unknown miles cut open with sludge deposits!!

There are sludge particles that look like coffee grounds on the filter end caps. Plus I already burned the filter.

Thoughts on oil change interval for 20KW diesel generator

I work on those. Probably as long as you change it more often than once every 3 years and put less than a thousand hours on it.

Oil for slightly neglected ford explorer 4L sohc

Here's 4,000 mile oil changes on my neglected dodge Dakota beater truck. https://bobistheoilguy.com/forums/threads/stp-filter-2-oil-changes-unknown-miles-cut-open-with-sludge-deposits.372975/ I don't think the Ford is as bad. Seems like it takes a while to clean them out.

    Reclaimed Oil for push mower.

Well I found 2 more uses for my reclaimed oil. My second oldest air compressor I got used some time around 2011 got full of water. It normally stays on my big trailer and a recent storm blew the cover off enough to expose the air compressor pully. Well I guess the shaft seal is a gonner because...

'26 Escape Can't Be Sold in 6 States

Ive heard estimates for "California compliance" range anywhere from $0 to thousands of dollars for gasoline. If it's $0 then the OEM likely exceeded EPA enough to meet California so they sell them all like that. But that's not always the case.

One 18x1.5mm oil filter to rule them all (efficiency)

Yeah I'll email them because the price says 5 micron absolute so it would be nice to know if it's absolute or just meh for $50.

One 18x1.5mm oil filter to rule them all (efficiency)

Its considered a "bypass filter" so they might rate it like a hydraulic filter. If they did then that's probably the absolute rating. It would be nice if they just posted the beta ratios.

Oil for slightly neglected ford explorer 4L sohc

Yeah that's probably going to be the plan. It's got about 500 miles on it and the oil is starting to look distressed. I thought it took an 18x1.5 so I bought one of my large $3 clearance OCDs but wrong size so I grabbed a wix from O'Rileys which is walking distance from the brother in laws...

One 18x1.5mm oil filter to rule them all (efficiency)

It's a wix so it should be of acceptable quality.

'26 Escape Can't Be Sold in 6 States

Maine too follows another state. It's not that they need it they just do it to keep heavy industry out of the state and force people to buy from a smaller more expensive pool of new cars.

One 18x1.5mm oil filter to rule them all (efficiency)

I believe I have found the most efficient 18x1.5mm oil filter inexistence. Correct me if I'm wrong. Please. The price is don't tell my wife.
