    Photo Thread for Unusual Vehicles

Most of us know the Ford Contour SVT, but not many remember its cousin, a true sleeper, the Mercury Mystique. Same 2.5L V6 Duratec and that nice 5-speed manual. This one happens to be for sale, just $2000 with under 150k miles. Just look at that pearly paint... Preserved better than a decade old...

Thread for photos that 100% do not violate any Terms Of Service, not political, not too lewd, no gas price pics etc.

Went out for a stroll with the kiddos. My inner child gets a STRONG urge to explore these abandoned looking buildings... Things with Internal Combustion Engines always get my attention. I'd love to camper-ize that old GMC bus. Unexpectedly found Waldo in the bushes.

    Favorite EDC Pocket Knife

No belt carry, pocket knife is in the pocket. Cardboard boxes is #1 use for me. Outside of that it's usually cutting zip ties, or a loose thread on clothes or furniture. Or a fruit/veggie. Or to help me get a stubborn connector off without having to go back to the toolbox for a proper tool. The...

    Favorite EDC Pocket Knife

Got this Ozark Trail a couple months ago. I think it was $11-ish. Not very happy with it, dulled up very quick. Still carry it for some reason. Also got this little SlideWinder on me, use it pretty often, and screwdriver tips come in handy. Yes, it's due for a blade replacement due to...

    Cheap cars are back, but...

And seems like still plenty of cars waiting to pass the pre-sale inspection. That guy said in previous videos that his mechanic actually fixes any necessary things and CELs. While most small dealers just rinse the car and list it straight from dealer auction with all the problems.

    Cheap cars are back, but...

Here are some vehicles up close. All are definitely cheap runabouts, but in no way would I call these cars junk. As I saw other dealers nearby sell SERIOUSLY bad vehicles, true junk, for double the asking price of these. At least this dealer is honest with what he's got. Anyways, judge for...

    Cheap cars are back, but...

Thanks for providing the location! Unknowingly I happened to be just 7 minutes away, so I stopped by this morning. Recognized a lot of cars from the video, so apparently they still did not sell.

    Cheap cars are back, but...

Apparently I'm currently only 7 minutes away from the dealership that made the video. I can swing by in the morning and see the true state of his lot, and if that's clickbait.

    Cheap cars are back, but...

I'm old school. For me a beater with AC is adequate enough, if price is right. Heck, even a scooter with no creature comforts is a good enough commuter for me, because it was only $500 and is fuel efficient. But I guess most people are more picky than that, and that likely plays a role in this...

    Cheap cars are back, but...

Yup I'm in Albemarle. My search criteria are set to anywhere between Raleigh and Atlanta. Basically a 2-4hr driving range from Charlotte. Not afraid to drive a little for a good deal.

I drive a 50MPG Toyota Prius C, and an 80MPG Kymco Scooter, so that my wife and kids can roll around in much safer 16MPG Nissan Armada. I can see how having just one guzzler as the main vehicle can empty the wallet pretty quick.

    Cheap cars are back, but...

Most examples of what I'm seeing are cars similar to the ones in video I referenced. But here are some in my areas, all under 200k miles: - 2010-ish Panthers, Crown Vic or Grand Marquis mostly, in sub $4k. Town Cars are a bit higher on price. - 2003-2008 Corolla, Matrix, Vibe in sub-$3k range. -...

    Cheap cars are back, but...

I scroll through FB marketplace and Craigslist daily in hopes to spot a once-in-a-lifetime deal, as I'm sure many of us do. Recently I have noticed an abundance of cheaper cars, with tons of useful life left. Yet they just sit... Sellers drop prices even more, yet still no takers... And I'm...

Photo thread for tacky car mods

At every redline this driver be like: "I. Am. Speed." I will admit - rear and side window louvers do look nice when done right & on proper vehicles. Such as S197 Mustang, for example. But definitely not a Camry...

Free to Good Home - 12qts Amsoil 0W-30 European

I'm almost 1300 miles away. Roundtrip fuel cost on this thing would come up to under $130. Savings are savings, lemme gear up real quick. I should be there in 3 days. Jk. 😁 Heck of a deal. Wish it was closer. Someone gonna get really blessed with that.

Fuel induction bottle and adapter kit

Here is an old-school solution. Permanent installation is required. But then just refill the bottle, drive, and your PCV will do the rest. Perfect solution for MMO, B12, or any other fuel cleaners. Even water, as it has been used for decades for decarbonization. Or here is a more modern day...
