    Scooped up a 2009 V Star 250

Pingel has a valve for V Stars, I don't know if the 250 uses the same valve as the bigger bikes. http://www.pingelonline.com/pc_product_detail.asp?key=73AF22205A5F44B6AC66A244BD6155A9

Is it bad to get WD40 on car brakes?

Does wd40 really soften plasti dip? I wouldn't have guessed that. I wouldn't worry about the brakes. Get the brakes hot enough and the wd40 will be gone.

How Hard to Charge car A/C Yourself?

The screech could be the clutch slipping, maybe your friend already overcharged it.

How Hard to Charge car A/C Yourself?

It is not hard, it also isn't hard to overcharge the system. I have seen several vehicles lately come in for a/c problems that I found had been overcharged. Since the compressor was cycling before and isn't now, I think at least part of the problem is increased ambient temps.

    My Jeep GC 4.7L......RIP

I do not know where the engine came from, the whole engine was painted with red oxide primer including under the valve covers and timing cover. The cam and rocker arm issue were not related to the valve seat, I think the parts just failed. The inside of the engine was clean, the needle bearings...

    My Jeep GC 4.7L......RIP

I have the heads off of a 3.7 now because of a dropped valve seat. This is on a reman engine, I think the same thing happened to the original. I also found a damaged cam lobe and roller on both sides.

Anything but pot metal should be fine. I had to extract quite a few of the old metal quick connects on 5.7 intake manifolds. If the manifold was off it was easiest to just chisel out the remains.

    Motorcycle Insurance Bait & Switch

Insurance is such a ripoff. Someone should be in jail for that. It is called a quote, not an estimate. To charge a cancellation fee after you change the agreed upon price is just wrong.
