My mother has a 2005 TL 6-speed manual and it does not pig at all on Sunoco 91 or 93 or Exxon/Mobil 91 or 93. We only have one Shell around here and it is far away.

Keep in mind that that most of the world uses RON (research octane number) for octane and the USA and Canada use R+M/2 (RON+MON (Motor octane number)/2). 91 RON ~=87 R+M (USA) 98 RON ~=93 R+M (USA) Big difference.
