    Darwin Award?

Because of alcoholic fools like him, we deal with endless warning labels on everything, even clothes. Personally, I am glad this guy got himself killed.

Strange noise after an oil change (5W-40 to 5W-30)

I do not think this is oil related.

Maybe front disc brakes where the rotor is a little warped.

Shouldn't this be on clearance by now? (Ultra)

So they were supposedly using old bottles? No manager believes such a stupid line of nonsense. She thought that you might believe it, which means she does not respect you as a customer.

accident today, dropping things into crankcase

What is this object made of? If it is soft non-plastic, non-wooden organic stuff, I would not worry too much. If it is stuff made of plastic or wood, it is wise to get it out. There is a difference between a plastic worm and soft, amorphous Powerbait. One will almost certainly disintegrate in...

Should I use ancient AC Delco oil filter? Corvair

I personally think the old filters would still be OK unless their media & seals were deteriorated till they were brittle. You might want to sacrifice one to check. That bad motor mount should be fixed as well.

    Quick Lube Success Stories?

I used to take company cars to those places. Never my personal cars. Drunk, stoned, incompetent/dishonest guys, I met them all.

    Razors

I still use a Schick razor that is over 40 years old. It is the old safety type with the disposable, double edged blade. I can still get the blades at the 99 Cent Store and other places. Funny, I just saw a printed ad for a new double edged safety razor, saying it is a great, convenient shave...

    Re-Frammed

Any car ever driven with an OCOD eventually rusts out, gets wrecked, catches fire, gets lost at sea on a sunken ferry boat, or gets junked. Or its owner dies of old age or some other cause. Why are you abusing yourself and your car like this?
