    Loading/Hauling an ATV in Pickup

It was easy peasy!!!! Heck, with my heavy duty rear springs and air bags, my 1/2 ton Ram didn't even squat with the 1,000 lbs in the bed. You will laugh... since I am 100% new to ATV's, it was a little unnerving to back it off the truck on my rails. As with most things in life, I shall get use...

What extended mileage motor oil and filter do you recommend?

You joined in 2019... so you are new here as well. Do yourself a favor and show a little more kindness. As for a recommendation for the OP... Opinions on that question are going to be far and wide. One guy will love Pennzoil and hate Mobil 1... and vice versa... Then you will hear from the...

    Loading/Hauling an ATV in Pickup

Just purchased this dude... pick it up early next week. It's 'wet weight' is a tick over 1,000 lbs. As I stated, my ramps are rated for 750lbs or 1,500lbs together. Hope the tailgate handles the loading.

    Loading/Hauling an ATV in Pickup

I see a lot of people in my area hauling ATV's around in the back of their 1/2 ton pickups. A lot of these ATV's are now pushing 1,000 lbs. I have never heard of anyone buckling their tailgate or the cable holders failing while loading an ATV. It has me wondering....... How much weight can a...

Why are we so OCD about oil?

I am way laid back on obsessing over oil, compared to when I joined BITOG years ago. Especially on my motorcycles, where the engine is between your legs, I would be in constant observation mode about every different brand and weight. I had dumped some oils after only 300-500 miles because I...

    Uptick in colds?

I am the opposite..... Since I battled COVID and survived, I haven't had a single COLD in over two years. Now, maybe it is because I have stayed on a Quercitin/Zinc regime Matter of fact, when the wife came down with her second round of COVID (tested positive), I promptly choked down some...

    Maintaining a beater?

Buy $3 SuperTech oil filters and pour in the cheapest Dino you can buy (but I would go thick and high detergent... maybe SuperTech 15w40) ... and drive it and drive it and drive it and drive it... until it dies. Likely, the engine will out-last the door hinges.

    2021 Ford 7.3L V8 - E350

Most of our trips so far.... are from Colorado to Texas to see the wife's folks and family. Folks are aging and in health issues and we get down there as much as possible. IMO, traveling in a motorhome is the only way to go! Anyway, the mileage thing is a bit puzzling... We actually get better...

    2021 Ford 7.3L V8 - E350

This is the third AirLift installation for me and on all three, I simply adjust with the Schrader Valve. So no, I did not get the compressor and remote. Seems most that complain about AirLift... this issue is nearly always with the onboard compressor.

Who love KETO and who loves Mexican Food? We make Egg Crepe, ground Beef Enchiladas. No tortilla... but a 100% egg crepe that is made in a non-stick skillet. Probably less than 5g of Carbs and an awesome meal!

    Post your latest oil change

2007 Toyota FJ Cruiser 4x4 Auto 155k. Changed oil and screwed on an oversize filter, so I could use all 6 quarts. I also drained the Transfer Case and poured in fresh, new, synthetic 75w90.
