Looking for a "quiet" oil
cold start noises start around 45-50* and below. Just sounds a bit rough the first few minutes and it is not the secondary air pump/VVT stuffs. I usually use a PureOne, Mobil1 or OEM filter. Usually one of the first two.- Brendan

Looking for a "quiet" oil
I have a VW 1.8T with 90K that does not consume oil. I usually use Lubro Moly 5w40 from NAPA or ELF Excellum 5w40. I am currently looking at something to help with cold start noise and general overall quietness of the motor (the 1.8T is a noisy motor, has been since new). I am looking at...- Brendan
